Hello, this is Serge, I'm the Chief Editor of Geneva Solutions (and Editorial Director at Heidi.news).

What an odd time to launch a new media, isn't it ? Yet it's probably one of the most intense and agitated times that the international community here in Geneva has seen in decades.

While people and institutions are working tirelessly to manage the pandemic crisis at global level, it seemed indispensable to start a modest, but timely coverage for Geneva Solutions.

When the virus hit and all eyes turned exclusively to the pandemic we decided to postpone the full release of our media to August 2020 and focus on publishing a dedicated temporary news stream on Heidi.news which will be hosting the GS content until 24 August 2020.

Movie: FRESH WATER - Our Planet - 19 March 2020, 12:30 Many rivers no longer reach the sea. Mega dams block entire rivers and by taking too much water upstream we don't leave enough for those downstream. Being smart about how we farm and rethinking how we dam rivers will allow the flow to return.
